American citizens can be intelligent to get themselves out of cumbersome credit card debt November 18, 2008

In today’s ailing economy American citizens need to be aware of ways to save every bit of capital that they possibly can. One very smart move to make for a large number of people would be to rid their families of burdensome credit card debt. Credit card debt is like poison to one’s finances and will milk you for everything you have in the long run. The majority of debtors don’t realize the financial danger they have put themselves in by paying on the monthly minimum credit card installments. When trying to get out of credit card debt, there are a plethora of credit card debt relief solutions. The one that will be discussed in this writing is that of credit card debt settlement also known as debt negotiation.

Debt settlement is a process that will allow most citizens to become debt free in just a couple of short years, compared to the decades it would take them otherwise. Also this process will allow the debtor to save a tremendous sum of money on what they currently owe the credit card companies. Most debt settlement programs will be able to take on debtors from all across the country. The only downside to this process is that the debtor must fall past due on their payments for the creditor to be understanding willing to settle an account. Doing so in turn will negatively effect the debtors credit rating. However if you find yourself up to your neck deep in credit card debt the first priority should be to become free of debt, not to concern yourself with taking on more debt that you already have to being with.

Little tokens I’ve bought in the last week November 18, 2008

Here are some of the things I’ve bought recently online:

  1. I decided to go paintballing with my son and he decided that using the rental paintball guns was not his style so he just HAD to buy paintball guns. Well no way I’m paying retail price, really really high, so I instead found a site for used paintball guns
  2. The next thing I spent money on is kind of funny. My son wanted to do some rap work but he needed rap beats just to start making rap tracks. So I did some searching and found rap beats online for sale - the deal I got was pretty sweet as well, a full lifetime membership and what not for less than $30–of course after I bought that my son moved on to another hobby and I wasted my cash (typical right).
  3. The last thing I spent money on I’m ashamed to admit. I decided to learn how to earn a living online and heard about something that basically said I could be sitting on a beach in 10 months if I bought into it. Well let’s say that $3000 later I’m no closer to a beach unless you count getting on a plane to go on vacation. You can read about this crazy program at this blog’s reverse funnel system scam review. I hope no one else falls for this.

That’s my complete list of spendings this month

I’m pretty good at saving cash.

Saving cash at holiday time is hard for everyone. There are certain tricks we can all use to save money from time to time. Every December I use the same old techniques to save myself a lot of money and I am hoping that anyone reading this article can make use of the same techniques thats I have to save themselves a lot of cash this season,

I know a lot of people are looking for gadgets this holiday season. One of my favorites has been the nintendo wii. I was able to find a great wii for sale by buying it online! I waa amazed at how that worked! Similarly when I started looking for a playstation 3 in order to statisfy the inner gamer I soon found that by searching online I could easily find a ps3 for sale cheaper than regular.

I find that pretty useful when it comes to searching the online stores and finding great deals through use of coupons and other really useful deals. These are deals which I am always very impressed with and that have been of great sucess for me.

You can also decide to go even better if you’re trying to find a cheap gps than I’ve found that you can save upwards of 50% if you start purchasing online!

The Basics Of The Game Of Racquetball November 18, 2008

Posted by Pat in : my thoughts on stuff , comments closed

Like tennis, racquetball can be played in a game of “singles”, where two players face off head to head, or “doubles” where teams of two compete against each other. There is also a three person variation of the game which is called cutthroat and is played in a round robin tournament style.

Tennis and racquetball have a lot in common, but although their rules and format are similar they require very different techniques and playing styles. Racquetball demands all of the agility, grace, speed, and strategy of tennis, but to be a great racquetball player you also need tremendous reserves of power. You can check out video sports blog for the latest tennis and racquetball videos.

Racquetball is in some ways a more brutal game than its refined cousin tennis, and a large part of becoming a master of racquetball is simply being able to hit the ball faster and harder than your opponent. Because power is such an important part of the game, racquetball strings and balls are created to allow the players to make the fastest and hardest shots that physics will allow.

The rules of racquetball are relatively simple. In racquetball, you and a partner take turns hitting a rubber ball in such a way that it bounces once on the floor in front of you, hits the front wall, and returns. As in most games, the primary objective in racquetball is to win the game by getting the most points. You win points by hitting the ball in such a way that your opponent can’t hit it back to you.

Points are only given to the serving side; the one that started the “rally,” or round, with the ball in hand. The most common end to a rally takes place when a player or team misses the ball twice, but there are several other ways for a rally to end. For example, if the ball touches a player’s body or clothing, the rally ends; or if the ball bounces more than once on the floor before being hit by a player. Most amateur games are played to fifteen points, but professional games usually stop at eleven. You win a racquetball match when you or your team win two games in a row.

The game of racquetball is a very fast paced and challenging one (but not as difficuly as the squash game), so it is little wonder that so many people make racquetball a regular part of their fitness routine. The game provides a great cardio workout while also providing compelling strategic problems, which helps keep players interested at all levels of excellence. Many people who have trouble sticking with a regular workout regimen turn to racquetball as a way to get their exercise, because it is not difficult to stay motivated when presented with a game that is easy to learn, hard to master, and fun to play. Even a beginner can enjoy a lively afternoon of racquetball, but the strategy requires enough finesse to engage the interest of even a very accomplished and practiced player. The combination of speed, power, and intelligence that racquetball demands makes this game a great workout for both the body and the mind. It’s fun to play racquetball!
