More than 225,000 people search on Google each month for a free credit score.  Do you know where to get yours?  You know about the free credit report offer from the government but that does not entitly you to your credit score.  If you go to the main credit score company - FICO - it will set you back $47.85 for all 3 credit scores from the different credit reporting agencies.  $48!  That’s a lot of money just to find out what your credit score is.

So go get your free credit score, save $48 and see how you compare to the average credit score which is 692.  If you have a lower credit score you will be paying higher interest rates on all your loans.  And if you have a higher credit score - good for you.  You get the best interest rates.  And remember to cancel to avoid the monthly fee if you don’t want the credit monitoring.
