The Emerging Ugg Brand Boots Craze November 15, 2008

A new fashion craze has emerged over the past few years.  Ugg Boots can be found anywhere and everywhere.  So how did this start?  Actually, the boots were invented and made in the 1950’s, so why now?

In Australia, the sheepskin boots were worn to originally keep feet warm.  Australians are famous for adventure, the outdoors, and usually wear rugged styles and casual wear.  It was the surfers who wore these cheap Ugg Boots to keep their feet warm.  All it took was a large garbage bag full of boots, a plane ride, and walk down the west coast of Southern California.  The boots were an instant success with American surfers.

The Ugg Boot name has been rumored to have come from the word ugly.  Since everyone who wears the boots loves the boots, it hasn’t dampened sales at all.  They were in fact chosen for their functionality rather than looks in the beginning.  As with a lot of fashion crazes however, what looks terrible one day, is the must have accessory for tomorrow.

Ugg Boots aren’t limited to surfers anymore, famous people, everyday men and women, have all enjoyed the comfort of these boots.  In fact, you can’t go anywhere anymore without seeing somebody with a pair.  Women, men, and children all are wearing this new craze and why not?  They are just so comfortable.

Ugg brand boots are just one example of Australian culture spreading across the entire world.  Other icons of Australian culture have endured, like the kangaroo?  Why not genuine Australian Ugg Boots.

Although know almost every wedding guest will be given wedding favors, a personalized wedding favor is still quite rare as the cost of these is a little higher but for the bride and groom to be able to have their names on these gifts makes all the difference. Unlike so many other wedding favors that are presented, these are meant to be something that will always remain a reminder of their wedding day and will not just fade as many do over the years.

For the wedding couple this is the best type of wedding favor they could give; knowing that whenever it is viewed, the person will remember the day exactly. It is surprising how the memory works and even little details like the bride and grooms name plus the place and date they were married can bring the whole day back to the person who was given the personalized wedding favor.

To avoid disappointment it is always preferable to decide what your personalized wedding favors are going to be and then placing the order for them as soon as possible, as this allows for errors with the processing which often happen. Even if the favors are already manufactured, they may still need to go through an additional process to personalize the item which will likely take at least a few days for the order to be processed and the manufacturer may have a number of other orders ahead of yours awaiting personalization. This means the wait for personalized orders can be as little as a couple of days but may take a week or even longer depending on the size of your order and how busy the manufacturer is at the time.

Of course you could ask for a rush order but do not expect this to be supplied free of charge which could see each personalized wedding favor double or even treble in price because you delayed. Just about any personalized wedding gift can be personalized but the most popular way to personalize a wedding favor is to include the names of the bride and the groom and the date of the wedding. Although names and details are the most usual pieces of information to have printed on your candy outers, pictures frames or coasters, other methods of personalization exist that can be just as effective.

While edible wedding favors are very popular, they obviously don’t have the long lasting effect of personalized favors but can still be very effective if you want to have your image printed on a cookie for example. Most modern bakeries can take a digital photo or even a can and print them onto the face of a cookie without too much trouble.

Once the wedding cake picture of the couple is printed on the cookie, there is no reason why the names and wedding details cannot be placed on there as well. Even the gift wrapping can also be personalized and couples who opt to wrap wedding favors in simple white paper can also include ribbons with their names and the wedding date to make the favor wrapping more personal. These types of ribbons can be purchased either precut or in one continuous ribbon which does create more work but the precut ribbons are likely to be more expensive although they can save the person doing the wrapping a great deal of time.

Computer and Laptop usage has now reached record levels, with more and more classrooms being equipped with more and more computer equipment, the use of traditonal text books for written work is on a sharp decline, many students are now expected to have their own Laptops with them in lessons.

With such changes, much of the so called old fashion written work are replaced with the student typing work directly into their laptops. This can have many advantages, but where an advantage appears, a negative situation will be present. Can you imagine a high School with, let’s say 2000 pupels and just for an example, lets say each student|pupel|scholar} has a laptop or notebook valued at five hundred pounds. So now we have 2000 young students looking after over a million pounds worth of laptop and Notebook apparatus!

Now that is starting to sound very expensive for the parents! Especially when you stop and think that every student will be carrying the laptop both to and from School. Just imagine the volumes of loss, theft and Accidental Damage that is going to take place. This could start to get very dear for the parents of the forgetful and careless children of the class.

You can start to imagine some of the storys children will come up with for the reason they have not brought their laptops into School, or indeed, returned home with at the end of the day!

Imagine how children could fail to look after their Notebooks! Swinging the laptop bag around in the air before throwing it 5 metres at their best friend, dropping it down a flight of stairs in the hope it will fail so they have the perfect excuse not to had the home work in on time - I would love to see some of the reasons for claiming accidental damage on peoples Laptop Insurance claim forms!

Now if we move onto loss, can you imagine, over the space of a year how many students loose their Notebooks, left on the train or School bus because their minds were focused on the last text message or new ipod download.

Yet another vital component about loss is not to get it confused with Theft, as they are two totally different factors, especially when it comes down to Laptop Insurance Cover and illegal insurance fraud!

Many people automatically assume that because they have purchased Laptop Insurance Cover they will be covered for loss, only to find when making a claim that loss was not included in the policy. Whilst some people find this out too late, others are aware they are not covered for loss, so they report the laptop as stolen so they can claim on their Laptop Insurance under the theft cover, this practise can then become illegal Insurance fraud, so its always good practice to check the terms and conditions of any insurance policy to make sure you will be covered for the loss of your laptop computer to protect yourself from this situation.

The same rule applies to both Laptop Insurance as well as the same sort of cover you get on say an iPhone Insurance policy, so it really is important as advised above to read the terms and conditions of any prospective insurance policy before you purchase, so to avoid any potential law breaking situation with your insurance company or indeed the Police!
