What a thought can the background wallpaper on your computer screen actually be a health benefit?
Well no one knows for sure but studies have shown we are greatly affected by what imagery we look at throughout the day - take advertising for instance. They are always using imagery as a means of persuasion. Many people turn to guided imagery as a way to solve health problems.
So next time you are sitting in front of your computer screen ask yourself if some pleasant pictures might help. The backgrounds wallpaper you choose might help as Computers can be the central hub of work and stress, therefore try beautiful imagery from the best source of relaxation - mother nature. Dreamy cloudscapes, beautiful flowers, calming water and gentle streams. Or even close ups of textures, patterns and natural details these make great free abstract wallpaper . Maybe a beautiful coastal scene or a perfect white sandy beach is what relaxes you. Or you might prefer mountain views and glaciers. Thats the great thing with nature it is so diverse there is something for everyone.
People have already found pictures and imagery to be helpful like Hypnotherapy DVD’s for instance these just use nature images to help you unwind and de stress. You can also by DVD’s that act like screen savers showing fish tanks, real home fires and waterfalls.
We tend to spend many hours in front of our computer screens so give it a try and see if nature images as your wallpaper background can help you to chill out! - it won’t hurt to try anyway.

Especially at night or right after a hot shower? You, unfortunately may have a tiny mite in your skin called Scabies.

How did I get the scabies?
By direct, prolonged, skin-to-skin contact with a person already infested with scabies. Contact must be for an extended period of time, a quick handshake or hug will usually not spread the scabies mite. The mite can be easily spread to sexual partners and household members and can occur by using or sharing clothing, towels, and bedding with someone who has scabies.
Scabies is also considered a STD or Sexually Transmitted Disease, since it can be spread by close skin to skin contact. But it isn’t a disease but a tiny bug that lives just under your skin.
Crowded conditions can lead to scabies being easily spread to large numbers of people as described below.
According to Walton, S. F., Holt, D. C., Currie, B. J., Kemp, D. J. in their study about scabies, said, “Overcrowded living conditions and poverty have been identified as significant confounding factors in transmission of the mite in humans. Control is hindered by difficulties with diagnosis, the cost of treatment, evidence for emerging resistance and lack of effective vaccines.”
One bad example of an outbreak in a hospital resulted when “a patient with unrecognized Norwegian (crusted) scabies was admitted to the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) service of a 940-bed acute-care hospital. Over 4 months, 773 healthcare workers (HCWs) and 204 patients were exposed to scabies“.
Standard treatment can be to apply permethrin (Elimite) that can kill the mite, also 1% lindane lotion or an oral medication, ivermectin. These Scabies Treatment need doctor prescriptions and can present a variety of hazards such as rash or seizures so following directions carefully is prudent.

Sometimes an ugly film is forgotten but its poster is still remembered because of the strength of its visuals and/or design. Posters from past eras are collected mainly not for the movie but because it is a document that transcends its purpose. Think about the artworks and the artistic devices used in making them; it is art which is hard to produce. The merger of media resonates in every finished poster; it is an example of putting together different aesthetics to create a singular and defined product.
Not only is a good poster able to carry itself by the basis of its art, some works are recalled for the amusing blurbs and phrases that strengthen the drawings or pictures. The poster for the Sci-Fi Horror Classic Alien is an illustration. It has an ominous feel, thanks to the blackness of space at the background which is further made scary by the phrase, “in space, no one can hear you scream”.
Collectors further enhance their value by framing them. Poster frames are also distinctive and have diverse designs. You can embellish your house and fill it up with posters of your choice movies just like a museum. As an touch of entertainment and its most popular form, movies aren’t just cheap excessive fodder that we forget after consuming; it is a higher degree of popular art.
