Boil the water. Place water in a kettle and plug it in.

Take the instant coffee and put about one slightly rounded teaspoon (this may vary based upon how strong one likes their coffee) in a mug.
Step four
The sugar, creamer, and flavorings may be measured into the cup before adding the water.

Pour just a teaspoon of the very hot (nearly boiling) water into the mug; only enough to dampen the instant coffee. If you use sugar, put in your sugar granules.
Step six
Stir in the rest of the hot water.
Step seven
Add fresh whole milk, fresh half-and-half, or non-dairy coffee mate creamer to the coffee if desired. Boil milk instead of adding it cold. This is a good tip for making any type of coffee, but it is an especially good idea for instant coffee.

Arguments for the Atkins Diet November 3, 2008
Posted by Pat in : my thoughts on stuff , comments closedThere are a number of Pros & cons of the Atkins diet, which center from the developers of the diet and those who are currently using the diet. Many arguments on the web also exist, which state that the Atkins diet is a viable diet and should be allowed to be tried by more people in order for them to receive the benefits of this proven fat burning diet. A number of studies have also shown potential in the Atkins diet fat burning potential for anyone who wishes to use it.
However, not all of these arguments are positive and they require further investigation. Despite this, the fact still remains that the Atkins diet has proved itself to help the user diet effectively. To the average person, losing weight would be a boon that he or she could not pass up, and with this diet, nothing is different.
The Atkins diet replaces the bad things that you put into your body and makes your body burn fat cells for fuel. There are always new diet fads that are being introduced all of the time, trying to take the place of more established diets that are proving to work well for those who try them. The Atkins diet constantly has to fight off other diets wanting to take its place and from those who do not believe it is effective.
The Atkins diet can also save people money as it lessens the amounts and types of food you need to consume, thus reducing cost and increasing accessibility. Saving money in an economy that is as in trouble as ours is a must. In addition, with costs skyrocketing, it is often too easy to eat unhealthy foods due to the price change. However, the diet provides a limited selection of foods to choose from (typically focusing on meat) which will minimize the amount of food needing to be bought and eaten. This is also beneficial for people who wish to use part of their money for groceries.
Some individuals are not aware of how to best care for their health and make a number of mistakes, which result in problems in the longer term. This sort of ignorance can easily damage an indivdual’s health. Following the Atkins diet allows indivuals to start setting targets for their health while using the guidelines of the diet.
While there are many challenges for the Atkins diet, each dieter will have to decide if they want to try it and then assess the results for themself. It can be a good plan when used properly with supplements and an effective exercise program. While the diet may not be for everyone, there are still strong arguments for the use of the Atkins diet.

You need to keep the building site secure when you build your home November 3, 2008
Posted by Pat in : my thoughts on stuff , comments closedI have recently been working on a self build project and had to make sure I could put away my equipment from dodgy types. I discovered a business offering containers for sale and got in contact with them|I got in contact with a business providing containers for sale} and they advised me on a particular product in their range which was site accommodation, the on site accommodation gave me a area to do office work and have breaks but also gave me somewhere to store my gear at the close of each day. The Containers had the excellent reputation of never having been broken into.
I then needed a cost effective way of keeping the site dry when I constructed the structure because I intended building it by hand in cob and straw bale. I spoke to a UK marquee manufacturer about using one of their marquees as temporary storage over the foundations and first floor and they were extremely helpful in providing me with specs for the appropriate storage. I also looked at a separate temporary warehouse marquee for the preparation area and storage of the bales and cob. The Canopy would give me enough cover for the first stage of the construction including footings and lower walls and enable me to work in any weather.
I also needed to use oak beams throughout the building, just because I really like the colour, feel and strength of oak. I discovered a timber supplier that had years of experience in oak and other timbers and they guided me on the most appropriate oak beams to choose and cut them to length for me. I went back to them again for the oak flooring which I cant tell you how fantastic it looked. I used a natural wax on the boards which brought out the wood grain brilliantly.
